Darawat Dam is located in the district of Jamshoro, Sindh Pakistan. The dam is about 250 metres (820 ft) in length and 43 metres (141 ft.) in height, which would store about 150 million cubic metres (120,000 acre ft) of water to help irrigate 10,000 hectares (25,000 acres) of land. The Darawat Dam is located on the Nai Baran River, quite close to the Jhangri village. It help the farmers to fertilize there agriculture land and feeding the animals.

When I visited Darawat Dam it was amazing experience, location with nature close scenery. Environment was quite peaceful, fisherman were catching the Dam fishes and birds were flying over Dam.

While sitting on top of mountain you can enjoy the breath taking views of Darawat Dam which feels amazing and peaceful. When I visited the Darawat Dam at that time level of water quite low but water were providing through small reservoir to agriculture land.

Government should make more Dams like this so farmers can use the water for their lands for agriculture purpose. Still most of the areas in Sindh are facing the dryness due to lack of water and in rain season they are unable to store the rain water.
