Sukkur bridge is also known as Lansdowne Bridge over the Indus river at Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan, it is one of the great engineering of late 19th century. This bridge is support the load of heavy steam locomotives. The bridge was inaugurated on March 25, 1889. The Ayub Bridge was built immediately adjacent to the bridge in 1962, to separate the road and Railway traffic. It was designed by Sir Alexander Meadows Rendel he designed the Lansdowne Bridge.

I also experience to visit this historical bridge at the time of university life. I saw beauty of this bridge by my eyes, we took the boat from river side to go other side of bridge, this bridge is made of pure steal and heavy nuts and bolts. Color of this bridge is dark brown and it is still in use for railway crossing and people also use for crossing the river.

Many visitors come to see this historical bridge and its about more than hundred years it is in good condition. Beside this we also went to Sadhu Bella Temple which is also located this river and it is very precious worship place for Hinduism followers.

Views of evening and morning sun views are stunning and breath taking. When you see these two bridges from far it looks like both are joined but if we see these from closely there is gap between them. This bridge is also land mark of Sukkur city and identity of Pakistan.
